A HIGH-END VIP SPACE FOR THE ÉLAN CHALON CLUB

Last March, a new VIP area was installed on the Colisée site in Chalon-sur-Saône. This sports hall hosts the Élan Chalon Basket, an emblematic club of Jeep Elite. The construction of this permanent equipment was unusual, because the necessary adaptation to the existing building.

Thanks to this new equipment of 300 m², the club has a large space and superior quality, to generate new revenue. Primarily for Elan Chalon's partners on game nights, this space is also used for out-of-game events organised by the club and the city.

As general contractor for this project, GL events supported the project of architectural integration, including conception at the design office and finishing works. The assembly of the new equipment was finalised by the laying of the structure in metallo-textile (15mx20m height 3m) Eurocodes dimensioned and made by our subsidiary Spaciotempo.

This permanent structure, juxtaposed with the existing building, responds to a specific request from the architect of buildings of France (ABF), which has a direct influence on the design of the new space: choice of colors close to the existing building for the entire covered enclosure and an added metallic sunbreaker along the glazed facade to extend the curve of the roof.

The adaptability of GL events structures makes it possible to meet the requirements of customers and public services. A turnkey solution, opposed to traditional construction, brings many benefits to clubs and communities: attractive budget, rapid installation and ability to dismantle, rebuild or recover equipment for future development.
