In anticipation of a future promotion to PRO D2, the city of Rouen has set itself the objective of ensuring the future of its local club by already meeting the criteria of the French National Rugby League (LNR) for its new facilities.
In order to display the club’s products, we designed and installed the official shop for the Castres Olympique in the Pierre Antoine stadium in 2018. The permanent structure has a surface area of 50 m². Signage was provided by our GL Events teams, as well as custom interior fittings and furniture.
In 2017 the Leaders Cup LNB organised by Disneyland Paris took place. For this global event, GL Events teams installed the Disney Events Arena. This structure is multifunctional and fully modular, so it can be adapted to any subsequent events.
In order to accommodate supporters and partners during home matches, 1,200 m² of reception areas were built by our GL Events teams at the Sapiac stadium in Montauban for US Montauban in 2017. This new space features a refreshment area to ensure that supporters have a great time.
To support the development of Harlequins Rugby in London, GL Events teams have built a permanent grandstand to supplement the existing grandstands at Harlequins Stadium. This new infrastructure can accommodate a total of 4,645 additional supporters and is covered for optimal comfort and line of sight.
The city of Christchurch was the victim of a violent earthquake in February 2011. The Rugby World Cup took place in September of the same year, so a lot of infrastructure had to be rebuilt.
The English Warriors Rugby club commissioned us to build a 7,000-seat grandstand in 2013. This new covered infrastructure ensures maximum comfort for supporters during matches. The project involved building VIP boxes and lounges, offices to accommodate staff and a shop for supporters.
