Stadium expansion – Provence Rugby

 

With the refurbishment of the East stands in phase 1, the capacity of the sports arena was increased in 2014 to over 3,567 seats. In 2018, with the construction of the new North stands, the 6,000-seat mark was reached. These stands feature 2,222 seats and a 600 m² panoramic VIP lounge with a view of the pitch.

Poitiers Exhibition Centre

Extension of the stands – Union Poitiers Basket 86

 

The Poitiers Exhibition Centre hosts the Poitiers Basket 86 club’s major championship games. Due to the high turnout of fans at some of their games, GL Events installs a temporary 4,000-seat grandstand inside the Exhibition Centre several times during the season in order to accommodate all the supporters.

Léo Lagrange stadium

Extension of the stands – Chalon Rugby

 

The Léo Lagrange stadium wanted to increase its capacity when hosting matches of its home club, Chalon Rugby, by building a covered grandstand with 1,800 seats. The project was delivered on a turnkey basis, from the foundations to the fittings, roofing, roads and lighting.

Matmut Stadium Vénissieux - Stadium

Stadium construction – LOU Rugby

 

To enable LOU Rugby to play in the TOP14, GL Events designed and built a new sports infrastructure in just 82 days. Consisting of two covered stands, this new 8,000-seat stadium with 32 open boxes and a catering area was a real feat.

Pierre Antoine Stadium

Stadium expansion - Castres Olympique 

 

In order to increase the seating capacity and the surface area allocated to VIP areas, the famous Castres Olympique club called on GL Events to build a three-storey covered grandstand with a capacity for up to 2,779 spectators, including 21 seats for mobility impaired persons and 21 closed VIP boxes.

Maurice David stadium - phase 1

Stadium expansion – Provence Rugby

 

To support the promotion of the Provence Rugby club back to PRO D2, the SPLA Pays D’Aix Territoires has carried out work to adapt the Maurice David stadium to the requirements of the French National Rugby League (LNR). Support was provided by our teams who were in charge of expanding the stadium.

Chanzy stadium

Stadium expansion - Soyaux Angoulême XV Charente

 

GL Events teams have installed three semi-permanent covered stands to allow the club, which has been promoted, to play in the Pro D2 category. With a total capacity of 500 seats, these stands are covered by 30 m x 8 m structures. A 400 m² reception area has also been installed.
