SAINT-DENIS OLYMPIC AQUATIC CENTER

As part of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the city of Saint-Denis has inaugurated a new Olympic aquatic center. This modern complex, designed to meet the requirements of international competitions, represents a lasting legacy for the residents of Saint-Denis and a major asset for French athletes, particularly divers.

FORVILLE MARKET

DESIGN AND INSTALLATION - FORVILLE MARKET – TEMPORARY HALLS

GL events has been commissioned by the city of Cannes to set up a temporary location to accommodate the merchants of the Forville Market during the two-year rehabilitation of the historic market.

Grand Palais Éphémère

In September 2019, following a call for tenders launched by the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais and Paris 2024, GL events was appointed concessionaire for the design, construction and dismantling of the Grand Palais Éphémère located on the Champ-de-Mars in Paris.

Saint-Symphorien stadium

Semi-permanent buildings – FC Metz

 

The South stands of the Saint-Symphorien Stadium in FC Metz, which housed the technical and reception areas, are being renovated by the club. To alleviate the situation created by the building works, GL Events provided a semi-permanent building covering over 900 m².

Paul Ricard Circuit

Extension of the stands – F1 Grand Prix

 

To celebrate the 60th edition of the French F1 Grand Prix at the famous Paul Ricard Circuit in Le Castellet, GL Events provided grandstand seats for the audience during the races. It is the longest grandstand set up by our teams in France totalling 350 linear metres.

University of Toulouse-Jean Jaures

Temporary building – University of Toulouse-Jean Jaurès

 

During the renovation of the University of Toulouse-Jean-Jaurès from 2014 to 2016, two temporary amphitheatres were installed in order to continue receiving students while work was underway. These transitional buildings have a total capacity of 750 seats. They were made available for a period of 19-24 months.

Sydney Exhibition Centre

Temporary building – City of Sydney 

 

During the building works on Sydney’s new Congress and Exhibition Centre (SCEC), GL Events provided the city with a temporary 20,000 m² building to ensure the space could continue to host large-scale exhibitions, events, shows and conferences. Divided into four connected halls, the infrastructure was installed in only three months.

Albert Ier Ice Rink

Ice rink – Reims Champagne Hockey

 

Following the closure of the Bocquaine sports complex in May 2014, the City of Reims called on our teams to provide new facilities as quickly as possible to welcome the general public during Reims Champagne Hockey events. The Olympic ice rink, with a surface area of nearly 1500 m², was installed by GL Events, as well as outdoor facilities.
